Last February 8, 2019, Lourdes College held its bloodletting activity. It was one of the main activities during the school’s foundation day. The day was spearheaded by the Red Cross Youth (RCY), National Service Training Program (NSTP) and Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC).
Among the donors were the Lourdes College students and personnel, from the Philippine National Police, Philippine Red Cross, private community organizations, City Hall employees, with the participation of the Parent-Teacher Association from Lourdes College Integrated Basic Education Department (LCIBED), and Parent-Personnel Association (PPA) from the college.
A total of 200 bags of blood were donated to the blood bank. Through the activity, the school can help those people in need and by putting in action the core value of the school which is service.
It can be remembered that Lourdes College was adjudged as the Bloodiest College for consistently facilitating Bloodletting activities.
