A seminar on “tickling the Brain: A deeper understanding of Psychological Assessment, Theories of Personality, Abnormal Psychology and Industrial Psychology” was held on March 15-16, 2019 at the Lourdes College Mini Hotel. The invited resource speaker was Maria Claudette A. Agnes, RP, RPm Chairman of the Psychology Department at the University of Santo Tomas.

An update on the current trends on the coverage and specifications for the upcoming Psychometrician, Licensure Examination was given to all year levels enrolled in the BS in Psychology program. The seminar was divided into four areas.

The first day consisted of topics on Psychological Assessment and Industrial Psychology while Abnormal Psychology and Theories of Personality were eventually discussed on the second day.

The seminar successfully attained its goal for students to review their lessons in preparation for the licensure examination. It was an opportunity for students to be more motivated through the help and support from the Arts and Sciences Program with the leadership of its dean, Mr. Noel Pit.

After the seminar, the fourth year students gave a surprise tribute by presenting a dance number to show their heartfelt gratitude for their teachers and their Dean.

Overall, it was an informative and interactive seminar that students will be able to carry on in their future careers and other endeavors.
