Search for the OUTSTANDING ALUMNA 2010

Every member of each batch is considered a candidate for the above award. The respective Presidents of 
the Jubilarians with the concurrence of the batch members will pick from among their classmates, six (6)
Outstanding Classmates in any six (6) of the following categories:

1. Education - she must be in the feld of education, either as a teacher, principal, or a school administrator;
                          an accomplished educator.

2. Arts - she must be an accomplished artist in any branch of the arts; visual arts, performing arts, etc.

3. Entreprenuership - she must be successfully engaged in business.

4. Public Service -  an alumna who is employed with the government or working with a non-government
                                   organization.

5. Career Service -alumna who is accomplished as a professional in private institutions or is very active
                                   with civic organizations.

6. And, a Special Award for Religious Life - an alumna who chose to devote her life in serving others as a
                                                                                member of a Religious Congregation.

There will be six (6) nominees from each batch, ONE (1) for each category. The nominees are already 
deemed "winners" as their respective classmates have already chosen them to represent their class; 
hence, they will each be awarded Certificates of Recognition. ONE winner for each category will be awarded 
a Plaque of Recognition.

Deadline for submission of entries is on December 30, 2010. All supporting documents must be submitted 
as well. The Screening Committee will arrange for interviews with a panel of judges which will be scheduled 
in mid January 2010. All nominees will be informed accordingly.

          Mrs. Maria Cheryl "Darling" Calo-Santos is an alumna of Lourdes College Grade School, batch 
         1981 (Salutatorian) and Lourdes College High School, batch 1985 (Salutatorian). She had her 
         college at Ateneo de Manila University and took up AB Developmental Studies. She was a can-
         didate for MA in Educational Administration at ADMU and is currently a student of MA in
         Education (Childhood Education) at Lourdes College.

        Mrs. Milagros Puyo Floirendo is an alumna of Lourdes College High School, batch 1960. She 
        took her college at Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan finishing Bachelor of Arts.

        Mrs. Christine Malferrari Jugador is an alumna of Lourdes College High School, batch 1975.

        A former Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Misamis Oriental Chapter, she is accomplished in
        her professional field. Moreover, she also has done community outreach and has been awar-
        ded by the different sponsoring agencies.

        Mrs. Lourdes dela Llana Pimentel is the spouse of Senator Aquilino Q. Pimentel, Jr. 

        With a degree in AB-BSE at Xavier University and MA in Education major in Guidance and
        Counseling, she has the following work experiences:
                - founded Oro Kasindigan Fdn in CDOC in 1980 primarily to help Women in livelihood
                   projects and give scholarships to poor but deserving children of City Hall employees
                - help found the Abot-Palad Fdn in Manila in 1986. Supported MAGIC livelihood program
                   in cooperation with the Meralco Fdn.
                - supported and help found the Foundation for Clean Elections, Inc.
                - Vice-President for Mindanao, Women's Right Movement of the Philippines
